Small pitch
A small pitch is suitable for a small tent, 2 persons included. A small pitch is available at £12.50 per night. Electric hook up available for extra £3.50 per night.
Large Pitch
Caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and family sized tents, 2 persons included. A large pitch is available at £18.50 per night. (We have removed the extra charges for children and pets). Electric hook up available for extra £3.50 per night.
We have capacity for five caravans/motorhomes and ten tents/trailer tents/folding camper. The camping area is on level ground and is surrounded by a traditional Devon hedge, giving excellent shelter. Set in a quiet valley, the most common sound is birdsong with the occasional sound of sheep. On the site you have access to drinking water from our own spring, a disposal point for waste water/chemical toilets, plus a flush toilet and great shower facility inside an old horse box. There is a recycling point for you to sort your waste, to ensure as much as possible is recycled. There are plenty of places to walk from the site, including the Two Castles trail, which goes from Launceston Castle to Okehampton Castle and the Tamara trail, a new ‘coast to coast’ pathway following the River Tamar. We also welcome those determined adventurers walking or cycling the Land’s End to John o’Groats route.
