Just before Christmas 2017 we moved to Down Farm Cottage and began to develop a camp site and retreat centre. We have been able to realise our vision of a 15 acre eco-friendly Christian Retreat Centre and camp site. We are continuing to develop and improve our facilities.

At our retreat centre we currently provide :
− a quiet camp site, with space for five caravans/motorhomes and ten tents/trailer tents

− two bell tents, ready pitched and furnished, for your use; each one suitable for two adults and up to two children

− an orchard area with camp fire area for wood fires/BBQ

− opportunities to explore 15 acres of grounds that encourage and support bio-diversity, being sensitive to the environmental impact of all our activities

− opportunities to help out with caring for our chickens and sheep on our small-holding

− opportunities for engaging in spiritual growth and renewal (as members of the Retreat Association www.retreats.org.uk ) including camping retreats (both guided or self-guided retreats)

− one-to-one Spiritual Direction sessions for individuals

− a programme of themed day retreats

− day courses in art and craft activities; such as embroidery and felting

− opportunities for ‘away day’, ‘quiet day’, ‘retreat day’ events for groups

− a Quiet Garden space, as part of the Quiet Garden Movement www.quietgarden.org
